leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lost to PTI candidate Muhammad Siddique
Khan after a recount of votes in the PP-7(Rawalpindi) constituency.
The recount was done after an appeal from PTI. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan won a seat in the National Assembly from the NA-52 (Rawalpindi 3) constituency.
PTI chairman Imran Khan called for a recount on four constituencies’ with fingerprint verification from NADRA. Khan said if their demands were not met by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in three days they would hold protests.
